For our annual RED Day (Renew, Energize, Donate) we are collecting food for the children in Alpine School District that would go hungry over weekends without these donations. These kids get a breakfast and lunch from school but usually don’t have food for the weekend.
We are collecting foods that they can easily make so they aren’t hungry when they aren’t in school. Please donate below to help the children not go hungry.
We are looking for the following items (donating and letting us buy them is easiest):
- Nutri Grain Bars
- Single-serving Apple Sauce
- Fruit Strips or Fruit Snacks
- Goldfish Crackers
- Granola Bars
- Pudding
- Rice Bowls
- Cup of Noodles
- Peanut Butter Packs
- Trail Mix
- Instant Breakfast of Protein Drinks
- Snack Nuts
- Pop-Tarts
- Protein Bars
- Variety Pack Chips
- Variety Pack Crackers
- Single-serving Mandarin Oranges
- Individual-sized Crackers & Cheese
- Macaroni & Cheese – Kraft Easy Mac cups
The teachers of these kids add a weekend pack filled with these to their backpacks while they are at recess so no one in the class knows who needs this help.
